Admission Process
Saint James School admits
students of any race, color and national or ethnic origin.
Students who are parishioners of Saint James (Davis),
Saint Anthony (Winters) or Saint Peter (Dixon) Parishes receive admission
priority because Saint James School receives financial support from each of
these three parishes. In addition, priority will be given to siblings of Saint
James School students.Grades One through Eight
--- Parents must complete an application for any student applying to grades One
through Eight. A test is given to all applicants. The test is administered to
verify appropriate grade placement and to determine whether Saint James School
can meet the needs of the transfer student. In addition, students applying for
grades Seven and Eight are interviewed by the school principal.
Kindergarten
--- Saint James School recommends that incoming Kindergartners be five years old
at the start of the school year. Parents of any student applying for
Kindergarten must complete an application. We administer a test to all
applicants to help determine individual readiness for our all-day Kindergarten
program. |
