Attending Mass

Weekly Masses: All students in grades Kindergarten through Four attend Mass every Tuesday, and students in grades Five through Eight attend every Thursday.  Students are fully engaged in these Masses as they are responsible for the Bible readings, responsorial psalms, intentions, singing and altar serving.

First Friday Masses:  All students attend a special Mass on the First Friday of every month.  The school choir performs at these Masses. Each grade is responsible for one of the nine First Friday Masses which have a theme based on the time of year.  Examples include: Jesse Tree, May Crowning, Saint Patrick, Las Posadas, Saint Joseph and more.  Students are responsible for the Bible readings, responsorial psalms, intentions, altar serving and offertory procession.  In addition, at the conclusion of Mass the students often perform a skit to highlight the theme of their First Friday Mass.
